Tina Fordham // Founder
Tina Fordham is transforming how the C-Suite, multinationals, and institutional investors think about geopolitics and social change. A trailblazer in geopolitical risk, Fordham spent 17 years at Citigroup as Wall Street’s original Chief Global Political Analyst, before creating Eurasia Group’s financial markets research business. She was appointed to the United Nations’ first High-Level Panel on Women’s Economic Empowerment and has advised the U.K. prime minister and 3-star generals over 25 years. Tina founded Fordham Global Foresight weeks after Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine, as boards faced a new era of geopolitical dislocation. Her clients and Forbes readers know her thesis on “The New Geopolitical Risk Supercycle” and the concept of “PQ” – Political Quotient – leaders’ readiness for what lies ahead. Tina sits on the International Advisory Board of Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, her alma mater, and on Concordia’s Advisory Council. She regularly appears on Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN and Monocle Radio, and hosts “The Navigator”, a global affairs series with the London Stock Exchange Group. Tina has been named among the FN100’s “Most Influential Women in European Finance” five times, most recently in 2024.
Martyn Brush // Principle Consultant
Martyn Brush is a C-suite Financial Services executive and innovator in Risk. He joined the Board of Fordham Global Foresight in January 2023 as Co-Founder. He views political risk as an increasing and difficult-to-quantify problem: geopolitics is affecting not only the short-term global economy but also how companies navigate everything from supply chains to where they locate operations. Martyn has served as CEO, COO and CRO for major financial institutions across multiple jurisdictions. He started his career as a derivatives trader specialising in commodities and foreign exchange, before progressing to Global Head of Trading and Sales for FX and commodity derivatives at HSBC Group. Martyn holds an MBA from London Business School (2005) and completed an AMP at Harvard Business School (HBSAMP176). He is also an entrepreneur, having developed many innovative technologies with a particular emphasis on risk. Martyn is a Board director of Plastic Collective, an innovator in financing plastic-waste-removal projects in emerging nations. In January 2024, Plastic Collective partnered with the World Bank and Citibank to bring a USD100m Plastic Waste Reduction Bond to market.
Dr Catherine Fieschi // Principle Consultant
Dr. Catherine Fieschi is a leading expert on European politics, with deep expertise on political parties and electoral systems, especially the rise of populist and authoritarian politics in advanced democracies, including the UK, France, Italy, Germany and beyond. An academic Political Scientist and previous Senior Advisor at the geopolitical consultancy MAP, Dr. Fieschi has over 25 years’ experience advising government officials, investors and business leaders on the effects of politics on policymaking and markets, with extensive global connectivity across Europe and beyond. Catherine is also a Senior Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre of the European University Institute in Florence, a Visiting Scholar with Carnegie Europe, and a member of the OECD’s Expert Group on Strategic Foresight. A regular commentator in multiple languages, Catherine is a columnist for the French weekly magazine L’Express and is widely published in both academic and mainstream outlets. Her most recent book, Populocracy, was published by Agenda in 2019, building on decades of research into the drivers of political disruption. Catherine holds a PhD in Comparative Politics from McGill University in Canada and, after 30 years in the UK, now lives in Paris.
Jamie White // Principle Consultant
Jamie White has a background in management consulting, law firm management, business design and growth, and brand and reputation management. He has worked at board level with the world’s leading corporate and professional services businesses, from magic-circle law firms and top consulting practices to international banks, private equity, insurers and asset managers. Over the past 25 years, he has developed business strategies in over 30 countries, helping boards identify, extend, protect and nurture value. Today, he supports the world’s most gifted and successful lawyers in growing the influence and impact of their businesses. At Fordham Global, Jamie advises on how geopolitics, technology and the rule of law combine to create both opportunities and challenges for business. Jamie is a co-founder of Prosperant LLP, the world’s leading advisory business for the legal industry, working with international boards to drive programmes that create a lasting legacy for management teams. Crucially, staff all have real-world experience of managing legal businesses from the inside, across jurisdictions spanning the UK, the Americas and Continental Europe, to the GCC, Asia and Australasia.
Rachel Ziemba // Principle Consultant
Rachel Ziemba is a preeminent independent geoeconomic and country risk expert whose work sits at the intersection of global finance, energy security, and foreign policy. Based in the United States, she is a go-to analyst for understanding how economic power is wielded as a geopolitical tool — from sanctions regimes and trade coercion to tariffs and strategic resource competition. Her expertise spans the full landscape of the “weaponized economy,” with deep specialization in energy security, the renewables transition, and critical minerals supply chains — alongside the macroeconomic trajectories of oil-exporting nations, China’s foreign economic policy, and Sovereign Wealth Funds. She currently serves as a Non-Resident Fellow at the Gulf International Forum and Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), advising on the shifting economic dimensions of global security. Earlier in her career, she led Emerging Markets research at Roubini Global Economics, working alongside some of the world’s foremost macroeconomic thinkers. Rachel holds an MPhil from St. Antony’s College, Oxford, and a B.A. from the University of Chicago. In 2008, she co-authored Scenarios for Risk Management and Global Investment Strategies (Wiley).
